Red and White Albion Red and White Motor Services of Chepstow liked their Albion's which gave them plenty of power from a relatively large (10 litre) engine for its time. But during the war as this picture shows they had to make do with a Leyland, loaned from another company, to augment their services. Legend has it that the "V" on the destination box meant victory or perhaps aped Churchill's famous V sign to Herr Hitler. |
